Is anyone else getting eye strain?

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 3:32 am

Yes, I'm playing for hours and hours, which might not be healthy for the eyes. But I've been able to do so with other games without any problem.

I'm kind of obsessed with looting everything and making sure I don't miss something. I don't know if this is the reason why I'm getting eye strain, but it feels like it could be (one of) the reason(s). The continuous and repeating movement of the eyes when you look in the middle of the screen and then read the text that pops up to the right when you're about to loot something is eye straining in the long run.

I wish there were a way to move that text more to the middle, or even disable it. Or having it popping up when you're about to loot something you have a search tag for.

Yeah, I think I already changed that to 90 though. But I'm gonna make sure it's on 90 now to see if that's the problem.

Rest man. Go to sleep. Take regular breaks. Remember to blink. Alternatively - surprise! You need glasses. It can happen as you age. But seriously, we all love the game, but look away from it once in a while. :snoring:

I'm 27. And I've had some minor problems with my eyes, but my eyes is really taking a strain from this game in an unusual way.

I can't be the only one? ^^

For some reason the PC Hacking it really bothering me. I can see that they added some 'waves' and 'fade outs', which is cool, but staring at it too long just gives me a headache. I already spotted a mod that removes this but I promised myself I won't mod my first run-through, at least I know I'll be modding the following plays.

I have that problem with The Witcher 3. I had to stop playing it because I was getting migraines after just 30 minutes of playing. I havent had any problems with Fallout though. I put in 15 hours on Saturday and had no problems. Besides forgetting to eat of course.
