Graphics Fallout on PS4

Hi guys,

I love the game so far, but i have to say that i hate the graphics and framerate and i feel that it got worse since the "day 1"patch. Anyone notice the same? Before the patch my experience with the game was fine, but after installin the patch i have the feeling i am playing a game form 2005. Does anyone know if this will be able to be modded for the PS4 in the future? If not, it will be a huge let down. I played MGS5 and GTA5 and both were big open world games with good graphics, so why are the graphics in Fallout4 so [censored]?

Thanks!

I haven't noticed any framerate drops so far and I think the graphics are very good.

MGS5 and GTA5 are different engines that do different things. Most notably the GTA5 game, all NPC's, vehicles, and their objects are randomly generated as you travel through the map. In older versions of GTA, this is why that on occasion you would travel into an area that would be littered with parked cars of all the same type, no pedestrians and no traffic because the generator hadn't caught up yet (usually happened online). MGS5, the NPC's are not randomly generated, but there isn't much behind them like there is with the NPC's in Fallout. On top of that, you don't have the extreme and vast object variety and interaction like you do in Fallout compared to either game.

The graphics get toned down a bit compared to these titles simply because of how the engine works and what needs to be done to interact. To run Fallout at a graphical quality of MGS, you would need a powerful rig whose performance is greater than the consoles.
