I was in the police station and picked up new missions for BOS. Quicksaved before quitting awhile. Thought I would shoot one of the BOS to see if it was possible and sure enough ended up in a firefight with the team and had to slaughter them.

Paladins body for looting shows a Synth component. The only one that does. I was thinking, something on his PA? But no that is not it.

Anyway I did not resave, I want to play the BOS missions. But you can kill them off. Any ideas what the Synth component is about that he has on him?

He's a synth. Anyone with a synth component is - you guessed it - a synth.

I appologize for the spoiler. I am not that far in the story to know the facts. Caught me by surprise actually.

So now I am left wondering, if you decide to just wipe out the BOS team how does the rest of the story play out. I know the main story line is linear, but can slaughtering the team do more than a loss of some missions?
