Any way to share Workshop inventories?

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 12:10 am

I don't plan on doing much with the settlement system, but unlocking the ability to use a settlement' workshop causes the people there to start generating scrap that they put in their local workbench. I would like to be able to use that scrap without having to travel to the location and grab it manually. Is there a way to link workshops in different settlements together so that the one at Sanctuary Hills can get and use scrap in the Red Rocket workbench (as an example)?

Set up a supply line between the settlements by highlighting a settler in build mode and pressing Q (not sure what button it is on consoles, but it's one of the options on the menu bar along the bottom of the screen).

I know that perk allows a settlement to provide resources for another settlement if they have extra, but I wasn't sure if it would also allow access to workbenches. Thanks for the reply. Looks like I will be taking the first rank of the Local Leader perk after all.
