Not sure I'm doing the opposite, entire game without power armor on survivor :)

Enjoy getting ripped in half by Deathclaws. :wavey:

To the OP - even with the ability to craft Fusion Cores, I don't know how viable it would be to stay in Power Armor constantly. Jumping, sprinting, etc. all cause the core to drain faster.

In the early game I doubt it would be possible. While Power Cores aren't rare, they're not common, either. Given enough time, you could probably get to the point that you could wear Power Armor all the time, but it would take a while to get a large supply of Fuaion Cores, and the higher ranks of the Nuclear Physicist perk are level-locked, so the cores would drain at a semi-decent clip. I'd look at full-time Power Armor use as a mid- to late-game goal, not as something you use from start to finish.

There is always that modding option... Just get a modt hat makes power suits not require fusion cores, or just use the command console and spawn a bunch of them in your inventory. Although I wonder if there's a special item in th egame like an infinite fusion core (one could easily be made with a mod i think) or one unique power armor that doesn't depend on fusion cores.
