I'm at the final part of the quest line where I am supposed to talk to Hancock a second time impersonating the Silver Shadow, the only issue is he is also a companion and will not actually engage in the quest dialogue. I have Dogmeat as my companion right now so he shouldn't even be thinking of that and I'm perfectly in the costume so does anyone have any idea of what's going on?

recruit Hancock and have him follow you. then use the talk option to trigger the needed quest progression.

I am currently finished and kent says he has a surprise for me soon but I've waited like 8 in game days and nothing...
