Just a simple yes or now will suffice as I don't want any spoilers. By critical I mean can I finish the main quest.

She is quite simply possibly the most annoying NPC I have EVER encountered in any game...........ever. I just want to know if I can kill her or not without screwing up something in the future. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe Piper can die, or any of your companions for that matter.

you CAN'T kill her at all. All the companions are 100% essential and cannot die. They can hate you and refuse to join you, but that is the limit.

In regards to killing her you can use console commands to change essential status.......unless they changed it for this game I assume it still works the same.

I don't kill the companions I dislike. I just don't recruit them period.
