That encounter happened to me twice actually and on both cases the guys were called Art...

Yeah found that one near the Red Rocket, was gonna side with that synth until interrogating it, then the rest was let him be finished lol.

That isn't the only "synth" double I've met. I killed one of them cause I knew the real person was in Diamond City.

Yeah, I really wanted to side with the synths. Putting all the stories down to paranoia and xenophobia. But I have come across too many instances of those doubles and been randomly attacked by their earlier gen models that I kinda have to get suspicious and paranoid myself.
