I'm having great difficulty in maintaining happiness in Sanctuary hills - so every time I check on it, have a wonder round it's all fine and dandy with defence around 70, food @ 20, people at 15/16, bed at 20. When I'm in the area it's fine.

As soon as I leave, water, power, defence and beds all drop. Water, power and defence drop to 0 and beds drop to 14. Then the happiness starts dropping through the floor. The settlers are also un-assigning themselves from the shops / food once I load back in.

Has anyone else had this or knows how to fix it?

It only happens in Sanctuary hills for some reason, all the rest of my settlements have no problems and function normally.
