I know when I was playing through Fallout 1, I was fairly young when playing it but I enjoyed it never the less. I know the final boss The Master is one character I will never forget, with how creepy he was and how young I was might have given me a few nightmares that night T.T

I was just curious what everyone else's opinion was on the matter, I know if you use Fallout Online which was stopped being made I believe hinted at The Master was still alive.

Even if he will never return I'd still like to get some more Lore on him, I know we have how he started in life, what happened, what he did, how he was stopped and so on. If anything I'd just like to see if we can find out if the Murder was set up in the vault he was in.

Would you guys want to see him again or just want to forget about him?

No, he is long gone and irrelevent now. Better to deal with new situations.

Only in a Fallout remake. Him surviving would be a bit ridiculous and would leave a bad taste about everything the Vault Dweller has done. Not that I'm in favor of a Fallout remake but it would be the only scenario where The Master making an appearance would be acceptable.

Remaking iconic moments and characters puts the new at war with the old. Precarious territory for Bethesda since fallout has a passionate if sometimes over critical fan base. Far better for everyone if new stories are told.

No more recycling of Black Isle ideas by Bethesda, please. We got enough of that in Fallout 3. In fact FO3 is basically a poor-man's Black Isle stew. :/
