While wondering around Diamond city I came accross a "house cat" sitting by the entrance. I thought they were all extinct in the lore?

Anyone else seen this?

Ok, thanks. It just caught me as beeing very odd.

I guessd that it was a synth pet in a nod to Blade Runner/Do androids dream of electric sheep.

There is also a cat wandering around Abernathy Ranch.

They are supposedly extinct on the west coast in the original lore of FO1 and 2. Personally i'm glad Beth retconned this because it's stupid. Felines can fit into smaller spaces, can hunt and eat a larger variety of food available in the smaller spaces and multiply faster than canines. If canines survived because they were taken into vaults then the same would hold true for felines.

I'm happy with this.
