Anyone figured that out ?

as far as I am aware, I think they removed this option. Havent been able to throw one in VATS yet.

you don't. You CAN throw a grenade, then shoot it in vats, but that is the best you are going to get.

no, though not sure why you would want to, since if you are using a gun in VATS, shooting it would be better in every way.

I dont have words on this crap anymore, does this mean its not possible to use vats for thrown items at all ?

I've not tried, but what if you unequip your weapon and leave only the grenade equipped, does it work?

I don't like to complain about this game but grenade throwing svcks, you'll probably gonna throw it at a wall and it will bounce back to kill you.

how they force u into FPS, on F3 or NV trowing a grenade on VATS was irrelevant since the grenade didnt explode into contact with the object.

Gutted about not being able to throw grenades in v.a.t.s. I loved doing that in F3, what a fantastic feature, can't believe they removed it!

My understanding is that Grenades can be thrown in VATS with the Demolition Perk (rank 4 mentions it). The explanation is somewhat confusing.

That's been my exact reaction to pretty much every bit of dumbing down Streamlining! which I've discovered in this game so far.

I think rank 4 of Demolition Perk is only if you shoot them in vats & not throw them like I really wanted to. Still I live in hope.

The explanation still reads funny to me:

• Rank 4: Explosives do double the damage. Any mines or grenades shot in V.A.T.S. also do double the damage. (Unlocks at level 34)

How do you shoot a mine?

you use vats and target it i guess.
