Can't light up lightbulbs

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 4:47 pm

Ok I have a generator and a lightbulb attached to a building. I cannot run a wire to the lightbulb but I can run wires to switches, conduits, and power pylons but again cant run wires from those to the lightbulb. What step am I missing?? I cant find any tutorial on it. Thanks

Use the conduits/pylons to wrap the wire around the building. Everything inside should light up. If you have multiple levels, the 2nd floor should light up as well. If not, do the same thing. The lighting system works like a very primitive grid system.

** To elaborate, you don't need the wire to attach to the light bulb.

Also note that some in game time needs to pass for it to recognize the new item and for them to start functioning

Thank you gentleman. I have already used up all of my copper in frustration of trying to fix this so it probably will be a couple hours until I have enough to try again.
