Thats the best way I can describe it. The garage from the main home menu screen. I would like to find this particular location in game if it exists as my little home.

yes you find it very early on just down the road from sanctuary
If you are talking about the red rocket truck stop that is not it. The one on the home screen is way more secluded looking and I don't think it's even a Red Rocket.. It just appears to be a garage of some sort.
There's already a topic about this. It's funny how some people miss the details that tell you it's not part of the game...the armor is hung by chains, there's a blanket on the bed and a similar looking cloth covering the minigun, etc. It's just eyecandy.
I'm not sure it exists. My best guess is BGS used some poetic license to alter the Red Rocket to make it look more secluded & have it stand out. If you'll notice, the layout of the protagonist's living room is also a bit different in the announcement trailer.
Bummer, You dont happen to have the thread link do ya?
The red rocket is the one from the trailer... It has the same thumbs up bobblehead...
There is also this screenshot

which makes me think its a real location.
I forget the name but it was someone asking the same thing. I don't know why they use the game engine to create things that we can't see or do in trailers...they did it for the Skyrim trailer as well.
I don't know if this version is in the game, but i have found another red rocket garage further down south of the one near concord. I've not explored very much of the map to know how many there are in total.
That screenshot is from the trailer and NOT from gameplay. (Can you imagine a player having that decent of a rifle and choosing to NOT wear better armor than what is shown?) Quite often, trailer content includes or excludes game content. All in the name of more appealing Marketing.
yup, the design was likely changed at some point in devolopment, it is entirely possible the trailer garage WAS going to be in game, but for whatever reason, they changed it to the red rocket garage.
