Pip-Boy lighting problem

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 6:22 am

I have a glitch where I can only fully see my pipboy when the sun specifically shines on the screen. If the sun isnt in a direction where it hits the screen, a third of the screen is coloured black. This is a problem as its hard to see things on the pip-boy 90 % of the time.

The dust on the pip boy screen texture is replaced with a black texture any time i step out of the sunlight.

Anyone got a fix for this?

well, i played around with lighting settings, adjusted screen resolution, restarted my pc, checked my drivers, and this didnt seem to improve the issue.

When my pip-boy is partially hit by sunlight, the black texture is partially turned into the dust on the pip boy screen

Try two things.

Delete INI files from Documents/My Games/Fallout 4, and also try verify game cache in steam.
