Unless theres a bluescreen type error its almost always a hardware issue.

Good friend of mine had the same thing earlier in the year while only playing battlefield 4. Wasn't happening in any other games. New PSU solved it.

Check your windows error reporting to see it if was a software crash, but its likely hardware I'm afraid.

My computer reboots by itself when i play fallout 4 only too.

Sometime I can play for 4 hours and nothing will happen and sometimes it shuts off after 30 minutes.

How are your system temps? Sounds like it may be a thermal shutdown.

Yea that was like my friend. Sometimes he'd get 20 mins, sometimes 5 mins. I'm not saying you need a new PSU, just that that's what was wrong with his and you should look into hardware issues. Test your RAM and CPU for example :)

Either your CPU is overheating or your PSU has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

If its a instant shutdown, with no warning, its mostlikely the temperature on your RAM actually.

Good peeps here. Right-on suggestions; thermals, or PS about to give up it's ghost.

Could be a number of things. Drivers, System Temps, Hardware Stability (RAM, overclock, voltage), PSU as stated (overloaded), software conflict, etc. Just becuase it runs other games doesn't always mean anything.

Different games stress your system in different ways. It depends on what other games you play as well.
