Water colission bug again?

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 7:52 pm

I had this with skyrim as well and never did figure it out but it's bothering me that it's here too. When I'm in the water or near water sometimes, especially noticable now since waves refract light, there is sometimes a random invisible dot that creates ripples in the water and moves in parallel with the character. It can be various distances or orientations as well. I don't have a picture right now but I'll snap one next time I see the issue. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have noticed this before though.

Get the same thing. Never found a solution either, but you're not alone. Can't confirm, but seems to happen when my framerate goes above 100.

But I consider myself lucky that this is the ONLY issue with game I'm having, so no complaints.

Mine's locked at 60, it's definitely not framerate related. I saved a game where it was happening so I could come post about it, but when I loaded it back up it was no longer there. So it seems like there's something you can do between loading the game and several hours in, where that becomes an issue.

It's weird because I can be walking on land and approach some water and some waves will start casting out as if I were already in the water. I don't usually use the word immersion but that does effectively kill it.
