Hi all. Me and couple of my friends are thinking of making a fallout based "movie", and i need your help to answer some questions.

Please answer only with links or text with actual knowledge and information.

1. What has happened in Europe in the Fallout world? What was happening in Europe in during the Great War? Did Europe or any country of it join in the Great war?

2. What was the situtation in Russia during the Great War? Did Russia help China or was there even Russia/Soviet Union?

3. Was Vault-Tec common in Europe?

These are the base of my script. I will probably make some more questions later.

All of the countries with nuclear weapons joined the Great War and fired the missiles at each other. By 2077, the European Commonwealth (Fallout's equivalent of the EU) was dissolved into quarreling nation states fighting over remaining resources.



There was a Soviet Union, and actually, it most likely fought China, not the US. There was a Soviet consulate in LA by 2077 and a Soviet diplomat could enter Vault 13, so the USSR and US weren't at war.

Russia was annexed by China and later absorbed as part of the Republic of China.

Europe fought the Middle East for oil and both sides lost since the oil fields dried up, leaving both countries in ruin. The only thing active in Europe after that were refugees trying to escape a resource empty country.

4. Is it revealed what countries were part of the European Commonwealth?

No, it wasn't.



No. Probably the Iron Curtain was still there, though, so no East Germany, Poland etc.

As a rule, Wikipedia should be avoided when looking a fictional universe lore. Look for actual fansites which are actually maintained by people who know what they're talking about.

In fact, Wikipedia should be avoided for any and all serious research, no matter the topic.
