How come...

I would be glad if devs would answer some of my questions. I know guys you read the forum.

Let's start:

How come GTA San Andreas has more RPG elements than Fallout 4?

You've spent 5 years why do we get less of stuff that we had in F3\NV? Where's wide varitey of guns? Where's RPG elements? Where's dialogues?

Why the guy who's responsible for a mess instead of the plot in F3 was allowed to be a lead writer in F4?

Why do you force us to play as a hero of the wasteland instead of a random guy with his own mission in the wasteland?

Do you think that loyal fans of the franchise are SO [censored] that you have to give them a flashy power armor and a minigun 30 minutes into the game

or the player will get bored fast?

How come cargo full of Jet was delivered to the Vault 95 as a part of the experiment (according to the one of the ingame terminals) before the great war when Jet was created after the war by Myron not far away from the New Reno? Does your lead writer even know about Fallout 1,2?

I have many more questions but other people will ask them instead of me. All i want is you to read this and let these things to sink in your mind so the next time your producer guy will come with an another [censored] idea of cutting RPG-elements from and RPG game you will slap him in the face. Too bad that F4 is commercially successful that will teach you nothing. All we have to do now is to hope that Obsidian will fix things you broke Bethesda just like before they did by creating New Vegas.

PS Skyrim is great game but please stop ruining Fallout franchise. Let Obsidian make a proper Fallout instead of this what we have as Fallout 4.

Oh yeah. 7\10 for F4 Bethesda/ It's mediocre.

PPS You have alot of money now. Spend them on a new engine. Gambryo looks horribe and there is no way for you to make this clunky mess pretty.

I suggest learning what role-playing is. Then you won't need to ask where the RPG elements are.

why do you play as the hero and not some random guy on his own mission?

The character you play IS a random person on his own mission, his desire to help people is purely coincidental.

Good question about Jet -

I was never 100% sure if Myron really was the one who created Jet or if that's just what the ignorant people of New Reno thought? Some clarification would be good on this.

Also, the Power Armor and Minigun so early in the game was a complete joke. I refuse to use it because it feels like a cheat.

You really have no idea what an RPG is right? If you say fallout 4 is not a role playing game you obviously havent even seen the perk chart...

Minigun is crap and ammo is hard to find, all they did was give you a power frame with some [censored] armor.

Holy crap you're right though. That's a pretty major plot hole. It's clear that Myron created jet in Fallout 2. It was a whole plot-point. Did they just forget their own lore?

I honestly don't think they care about lore enough - They created a FPS with a story that uses the Fallout universe as its background.

Just my personal opinion

The perk chart is about as complex as farcry 3s perks, or bioshock 1s gene tonics.

Neither of those games are rpgs.

Because Bethesda didn't write fallout 1 or 2, or had any involvement in their development.
Judging from fallout 3 and fallout 4, they played a couple hours of fallout 1 and 2 and skimmed the fallout wiki before making their games.

I wouldn't be surprised that they didn't even know jet was a post war drug created during the time of fallout 2.

You'll get bashed, clearly, but I agree with a lot of your comments. I knew the game would be designed for popularity rather than depth of content when I got power armor literally after the first 10 minutes of play. I guess it's either that Howard and Pagliarulo lost their touch or they are trying to widen the scope of appeal here.
