Hey guys. I need a little help. Right now I'm doing the Sancutary mission where I have to provide beds, water, food, etc. Right now, I'm at the part where I need to provide food. I've already planted a couple crops, but I need more. However, I cannot plant anymore as when I select a particular type of food, nothing comes up for me to plant. I have plenty of carrots, mutfruit,, etc., but I cannot plant those. Do I need to provide a diverse crop of food? Also, I cannot seem to get anyone to tend to the crops. Nothing comes up when I talk to the people there.

I would be really grateful if someone can throw me a bone.

you have to plant the food and then assign people to work the food using the command option in the settlement menu.. hover over a citizen and command them to take care of the crops.. now.. you dont have to do this.. they will tend the crops if they have no other jobs.. but if they still refuse to work the crops you can order them to do it.

also are the food items you have considered "wild" i dont think the wild versions are able to be planted.. as they are considered seperate food item.

You also might have reached your settlement build limit (it doesnt inform you when you reach this limit and the size bar is for population... not items placed)

Thanks for your quick reply.. I haven't reached the limit. The # of crops I've planted are 2 & when I speak to the guy who gave me the quest, doesn't do anything except trade when I interact with him. As far as the food goes, I don't know if they are wild or not. I got them by cheating (entering in 'coc qasmoke' & selecting them from the boxes).
