Greetings,

The issue : As soon as you build the Recruitment Radio Beacon, the broadcast on the radio can't be stopped. I tried turning off the beacon, removing the generator, even deleting the beacon itself. Unfortunately, the broadcast on the radio is still active and never goes away.

I tried reinstalling the game and starting fresh playthrough, but didn't help.

I want to point out that I didn't have this issue before, even after the latest patch (not the beta patch) and I am not using any mods. After starting my third or fourth playthrough, this issue is now present all the time.

UPDATE : Tried the new BETA patch, still nothing.

I also discovered that the beacon has unlimited range. I placed it in Sanctuary and fast-traveled to the opposite part of the map and I am still hearing the broadcast.

Hmm, have you tried turning off Steam Cloud?

Nope, but I'm wondering why ?

I completely delete all my saves plus my Documents files when I do a reinstallation to make sure nothing gets pulled off the Steam Cloud.

Even now it says 0 KB on Steam Cloud.
