weird blurred outline around objects

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 9:24 am

I made a short video to show what it looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFq6czIGZpA

System: i7 3930K, 2xHD7970 Crossfire (disabled), 16GB ram, win 8.1, game on a ssd.

I tried both drivers: crimson and 15.11.1

I tried to disable all fancy grafics options. No luck at all. Any suggestions how to get rid of this?

best regards

Unfortunately, I can't see in the video the issue you're experiencing.

I think what the OP sees is the effects of light and shadow reflection at night time.

Do you see the same thing in the day?

Correct. The blur still occurs in daylight. It is clearly visible if you watch Preston walking by at 0:37 and best viewed in 1080p and fullscreen

I still don't see anything. Have you reviewed the video on YouTube after you uploaded it? The compression is pretty bad, and it may be causing the artifact you're seeing to be washed out.

I had a feeling the issue would be rooted there.
