Does the main character move his pip-boy?

does the pip-boy move when you leave it on on idle. Does the main character move it around
like in the E3 presentation? ?I'm just asking here. Kind off a random question but does he/she?

Yes. Furthermore atleast on PC you can move the pipboy around yourself with the right mousebutton.

I don't know if it does it when you idle, but if you hold down the camera switch button (what you use to switch between first and third person views - on my controller it's the "back" button,) then you can move your arm around freely like you saw in the E3 video.

Also you can tap that button and it will zoom the view in closer.

Sorry - I play on PC but with a Logitech controller. I know on my controller it's the "back" button (what I use to switch views in normal game mode.) Not sure what it is on mouse and keyboard. ;)

it also happens if you go afk long enough in the pip boy screen.. your character will look around the room ect after awhile of not doing anything in the pip boy menu.

It's the "V" key taht zooms in the Pip Boy. I did it by mistake and was able to zoom it back out due to this thread. Thanks! :)

Both the "V" (change view key) and the "Right Mouse" button will work on the PC version.

No, V just zooms in and out. To move the arm you need to use the mouse whilst pressing the right mouse button.
