Game crashes whenever I hit play, no error message

Dear god I hope someone can help me. I've been trying to run this game since it has come out, I have updated NVIDIA to the absolute latest drivers, i've tried editing the Fallout4prefs, tried verifying the game cache, re-installed the game several times, tried editing the 3D settings for NVIDIA, tried running in different compatibility modes as well as admin mode. My laptop specs are good enough to run the game yet it still won't run. Before one of the updates I actually started the game but my FPS was at something unholy like 8fps. Whenever I try to run it now, I just hit play, make sure it's on lowest settings and the game just crashes before any indication appears.

Specs are as follows:

Windows 10

8GB RAM

64 bit OS

Intel Core i5 3210M CPU 2.50 GHz

NVIDIA Geforce GT 640M LE (Updated to Version 359.00)

You need to have a certain amount of RAM to deal with the memory leaks in the game.

What memory leaks...

Most likely the issue is the that Fallout 4 is not running on the Nvidia discrete chipset, but the Intel HD 4000 iGPU.

Try this registry tweak

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]“RequireSignedAppInit”=dword:00000000[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]“RequireSignedAppInit”=dword:00000000
