How good is the quality of this game?

50h no crashes.

It has the very occasional signature bethesda visual glitch but nothing that stops the game.

30 hours on pc, no crashes. Only glitches have been gun disappearing and some minor clipping.

You can fix gun disappearing by going 3rd person and back in to 1st person.

I've about 60 hours and about 5 crashes. There has been a few weird frame rate instances and wierd glitches but WAY less that New Vegas.... I mean New Vegas was a crashfest for me on 360. This game at least lets you play it.

I'm REALLY taking my time with the game too... I have only just hit Diamond City because I was too busy exploring the hell out of the place heh... oh and messing around with building settlements.

Edit: This is on Xbox One btw.

Thank you for all the feedback. I'm on PS4 using a SSHD disk for faster loading. So in general it seems the game is somewhat more stable then previous games. I read on TheVerge that they got stuck in elevator and stuff so was a bit discouraged to jump in. To be honest i have so many good games i still havent played like The last of us so i think i will play that game first before jumping into this. By then the samll glitches should be fixed. Maybe even a holiday discount comes by new year :D

Very tempted to buy it now so lets see if i can resist the temptation hehe

I'm on xbox and haven't even experienced one crash. There is a group of people out there on the internet that are constantly proclaiming that their game's are totally messed up on the xbox, but I feel like they're most likely trolling. Beside's the classic shenanigans' like texture popping and the occasional frame rate dip, the game runs like a Bethesda game.

No crashes yet on my end either HOWEVER... This game does not at all feel next gen besides perhaps the character creation (that will forever blow my mind... Wow... 10/10 incredible) but the rest.. In the way of landscape design.. The long load time for some areas, clunky movement... Etc etc. You DO see the next gen quality in things that glow and metallic objects but everything else is pretty much on par with how New Vegas functioned, looked and felt. We have the usual enemies falling under the ground so you can't loot them, you leaving a crafting station and just floating around everywhere until you leave a zone and many more last gen issues but all in all it does not crash!! Which is a rarity these days...

If the next Elder Scrolls is like this I'm going to spit so many chips. Wow I'm getting angry just imagining it. Haha.

I'm playing on PS4. Technically it feels no different to previous Bethesda games on console. I'm still getting choppy frame rates in places. Loads of bugs. No crashes yet though, and I've still to see if save file bloat is still a thing.

I was going to put off buying the game for a while due to the "inevitable" bugs and imbalances that took a few months to fix after the launch of Skyrim and FO 3. Bought 2 days after release because the damn thing is pretty much flawless according to friends with it. No crashes in 25 hours and only minor bugs that might just be me being too stupid to work out how to do something.

I slightly disagree. Animations are yes still clunky, but I've seen Dogmeat grounding ghouls and raiders, chopping their limbs. Wonderful. Spectacular. Yes, the graphics are outdated, but still better than Fallout NV and Skyrim (the best game I've ever experienced so far). Pity we cannot craft orur own bullets! We are able to modify weaponry and armory, but it is impossible to make simple bullets and ammo in general! Weird to say the least!

Had one crash on the Xbox One but I think that was related to console getting ready for the big OS update. I believe I have well over 20 hours on the Xbox one. One the PC no crashes or any major bugs after about 10 hours of play time. I Just got the PC version a couple of days ago. Will continue to play both versions.

On pc I'm getting one hard (as in needing to reboot) crash about every 10 hours. Other than that, lots of minor bugs but no major ones. The crashing is infrequent enough that it doesn't really bother me.
