Possible Skyrim Dragon Image...

Post » Sat Jun 05, 2010 3:26 am

Hey everyone I just posted this on the gamespot forums, thought it was worth posting over here as well...

Watch this video from the Speed Tree site...alittle over half way through the vid there is a model for a dragon (alittle out of place for a program dedicated to landscape building): http://www.speedtree.com/showcase/

Possible that this is a model designed for use in Skyrim? Not too far fetched considering Oblivion used Speed Tree...maybe just a coincidence...who knows.

I couldn't find what you were talking about, but I'll safely say that SpeedTree themselves are not involved with Skyrim. Bethesda is simply using their technology to make tress, but other than that I don't think SpeedTree makes anything themselves for the game.

Plus, I hate going to that website. Every time I do it just makes me wish I had that program...

No, wrong kind of dragon, besides I think it's supposed to be a piece of scenery.

Yeah, I highly doubt that. If I'm not mistaken, that model is several years old and was created to show off the fact that SpeedTree can make crazier things than trees.

This is not the dragon you are looking for.

You can go about your business.

Move along.

Looks less like a dragon and more like a sea serpent. But in it being out of place, that skull with flowers growing out of it was weird, also.

Why did some random image of dragon give you the idea that it's related in some way to Skyrim? Makes no sense.

Wings are allot smaller than the ones in the trailer, in fact the ones in the trailer don't even have arms.

only because bethesda used speed tree for their last elder scroll game and they randomly included a dragon in a model library of all trees....said it may be a coincidence just thought it was worth sharing, makes perfect sense.
