The Ever-changing Character

I had a thought (probably for the first time ever :))...

Did you notice that for the female character creation, when you go past the "muscular" to heavy, mostly what changes is the waist area, with the hips widening out while the guy kinda gets a beer belly and puffy?

Well, what if during character creation you made a more frumpy housewife type ('cuz fat bottom girls make the world go round) who after the hardships of post apocalyptic life thins down and becomes more muscular as the levels rise, then either gets into skinny territory or goes back to frumpy depending on her lifestyle after she acquires some wealth and a life with more ease?

I think that'd be kinda cool. I don't know how it works in FO4, but I could have done something like that in Skyrim using the console to bring up the race menu, I just never thought of it.

Something to think about, eh? :)

Speaking of that though, it seems that there are very few fat NPCs (I haven't seen one yet) and taking pot shots at a wide-butted raider would be... different, don't you think? Imagine Roseanne Barr or Rosey O'Donnell in leather armor holding a mini-gun and taking on settlers! Super mutants would tremble!

That would be a nice touch. Though I'm not to sure how many large raiders there would be. I doubt the majority of the commonwealth population is eating super great. It would be hard to do with the PC as well considering I go weeks without eating a lot lol

There are some fat NPCs, one prominent one in the main quest. I also fought a fat feral ghoul lol, couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I did some character development with the plastic surgeon - started as a 'pretty' housewife. Added scars and bloodshot eyes and some darker makeup over time, as her personality darkened as she killed more. Became more sadistic and like a merc. Think Jason Brody's evolution in Far Cry 3.

edit - related: I made her slightly more 'bulky' over time too, but not so much that she looked like a bodybuilder.
