Does anyone know if I am able to make a generator operate using a switch which can then be turned on and off from a terminal inside my house?

(I ask because I hate having all my lights on during the daylight and don't want to have to go all the way to my generators)

What you can do is put a switch on the outside of your house and connect the genorator to it, then the switch to the conduit or pylon connected to your house. You may even be able to just put the switch in your house without worrying about wiring, but I'm not sure.
