Clothing Mod Question(s);

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 8:22 pm

i'm going to be making a few custom clothes, I was wondering if anyone had been able to extract the ba2 files yet?

also, i noticed that we finally are able to make fatter people, which is something i've wanted for a long time, I'm wondering if the clothing will still be based on the two body models? or have they added more? or some dynamic system that can handle this?

i know the tools aren't out yet, just curious, this is something i've been working on for awhile.

There is a way to extract the ba2 files, but the Nifskope part of things is still in progress. You can try it if you want, I heard that you can get some models out of the game, but there is no way to import anything back in.

I personally am just going to wait another week or two, continue working on my writing.

I am itching to work on some power armor and stuff though, but us 3d modelers are just going to have to wait a bit... Let the programmers get the tools stable and working so we can do our thing.

I'm pretty sure the base model will probably be the exact same as FO3, FNV, Skyrim etc, its all basically the same.

just wondered if anyone had managed to look through some of this stuff.

Close enough to the same that you can model stuff, yes.

Power armor... I wouldn't even try it until I can better get an idea on how Bethesda rigged it.
