Mods I am hoping for and the things I wish I could change.

So far I have been enjoying Fallout 4, even though I have restarted the game several times. It's a learning curve. You get so far into the game and you think: "Crap, I should have done this. Or, I wish I had that, Hell, I will just start the game over again."

While I am truly not known for being all that patient, I can hardly wait for the clothing and armor mods to come out: Especially those clothing and armor pieces that separate, so that you can mix and match, like boots. Call me a pervert if you will, but I hoping to see some combat boots, short shorts and perhaps halter tops.

My toon.....my protagonist is a beautiful ex military wife lost in and out of time. Her loved ones missing or killed and she seeks questions and answers to her new life; and, of the new environment she now finds herself living in......Everything in her life had been turned upside down.

As for the things that I wish I could change. I wish I could change how Dogmeat always seems to run ahead of me, when I am in sneak mode, giving me away. I wish I could stop him from standing in doorways blocking my passage. I wish I could change how when you send him back to Sanctuary, he just up and disappears forever. Nice dog! And finally, thus far, I wish sometimes that there wasn't a one companion at a time limit. Just saying.

He doesn't disappear, he's just sitting in one of those dog houses you sometimes find behind a house. There are like 3 of them in Sanctuary, so he should be in one of them.

You can also assign him a specific dog house to stay in, like the way you assign beds to NPCs. Just put a dog house by your house and assign it to him and he always go to that house.

I'd imagine the modders will be able to make some interesting concoctions with the layering system this time. It may take soem time for those to come out though.

I have a theory with Dogmeat, in that he is not programmed to follow you, but to run ahead and anticipate which way you will go, much like a real dog will. He seems to do this mostly by running wherever your crosshairs are pointed, which has a habit of being directly in front of where you are walking, which in a narrow corridor means it will be in your way.

I actually think that my Toon looks strikingly sixy in her body hugging blue vault jumpsuit. Even her voice has six appeal. So, the combination of the two will suffice for now. I grew up during the Cold War of the fifties and the sixties. I saw glimpses of the Korean War as a young boy; on a nine inch round screened cabinet TV; and, I survived the Vietnam War. Now in my so called golden years I am faced with twenty-first century terrorism. So, if I want my Toon to be skimpily clad she will be what ever I wish her to be and more.

Yeah, i'm hoping for more customization options, especially in the settlement building. Here's hoping someone makes non-destroyed buildings and walls.
