I have a unarmed/explosives build, sad to find out that you cannot use any unarmed weapons in the Power Suit and they do like no comparable damage even with the arm upgrades at the shop.

Really sad, really really sad.

Couldn't they have let you mod a power fist or something onto your arm, or just anything..

The arms do have an upgrade to aid with unarmed attacks but I cant recall what it is. They also intend on you using the suits fists instead of say a Power Fist.

Yeah I have X-01 armor with the unarmed upgrades and takes like 3-6 hits to kill a monster instead of the one it takes with my DeathClaw glove.

The suit fists just do a really reduced amount of damage.

I have a sheet damage of 205 with my claw, and 115 in my suit WITH the unarmed boosts.

Just seems unarmed is the only build type that is penalized for using Power Armor, just svcks.

Yes. This was extremely disappointing. Any modders here who can fix this? I know there will likely be bad clipping, but I don't care.

1. The PA fists are weak. The ARM MODS are okay, but you get the decent ones at level 29.

2 The Arm Mods never make up for the fact you are now completely missing out on Legendary Items.

3. Rank 5 Iron Fist does not work with PA and bugs you out on Crits. Very very bad.

If you really wanna do it you are going to have to play more stealthy and go nuts with VATS to not die on Survival. Also you will have to get lucky with amazing Legendary Armors.

Yeah I agree, I'm playing on Survival and my character generally is a stealth/unarmed with explosives as backup. But every now and then there are just no stealth options so I wanted a solid Power Armor to back me up.

Whelp.

Looks like 200 resist is the only option =P. WTB 1400. lol.
