Settlement Vendor Bug? (Sanctuary Hills)

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 10:00 pm

So I just started making some vendors, starting with the Medicine vendor. That was just fine. Then I made a Weapons vendor, but for some reason the person I put in charge of the stall always stands in the garden I made behind the main starting house mostly everyone starts out in (the one across from your house in the beginning). I thought it was stall placement, so I moved it. Then I tried putting another person in charge, but then they stood in the garden. I thought maybe it was a stall bug so I made an armor stall as well, but the vendor there was fine.

Any fixes? They're getting in the way of my harvesting.

Level 1 weapon stand is bugged that way in my game as well. But Lv.2 weapon stand works so if you have the perks and caps, build that instead.

How do you even assign a person to a stand? I actually just built a few of these myself.

In building mode:

Click 'command' on the settler then point at the stall: 'assign'.

I'm using only level 2s and 3s. The medicine stand is a 3 while the weapon and armor stands are 2s. The armor stand vendor is fine. Apparently all the people who I assign to sell weapons would rather be in the gardening business.

Make sure you're only assigning generic settlers to run your shops. When I tried telling named NPCs (from Preston's group) to run the stores they wouldn't do it, but the settlers worked fine.

I used console commands to move mine. Hoping that fixes it.

I am only using settlers. My named people are guards and farmers.

Sorry, Xbox One here.

Ah. Don't know what to suggest then, although I did have to move my weapons store before anyone would work it.

Nevermind, it was a level 1 store. I thought it was level 2. They look the same to me.
