best workshop place?

I'm kind of lazy always having to run back to Sanctuary to upgrade my weapons so often :D

is there another place, that has a workplace, to store junk in, but also has a weapon & armor bench?

preferably near Diamond City?

They are scattered all over the map dude if you go on your pip boy on quests then scroll over to workshops it will list all those you have unlocked and you can show on map to find the locations!!!

Remember as you discover the location you need to access the workbench to activate it onto your list!

Easily done dude, but its quite handy when you have a few on the go to help locate them on the map and fast travel!!

I find it hard to understand why you complain about being too lazy to run to a place, when you know you can just press a button and basically teleport there. No offense and all.

Bebula: no-fast-travel playthrough are quite popular and fun. Telling him to fast-travel when he's only asking for a more central area to develop isn't helping at all.

D4rkInv4d3r: settlements are really all over the place, your pipboy has a workshop menu (under date) to see what you have liberated/unlocked and how they are doing.

Just continue playing and you'll get more. As for ease-of-use during your run, did you know you can setup Supply Lines between settlements (require Local Leader perk) and all your crafting components in your workshop's inventory will be shared between all linked settlements? I personally find it's a good comprose between no-fast-travel and quality of life :)
