Misc. Inventory Items

Can we sell that stuff or do we need it for something? I have about 4 Grog comics, do I need to keep them or can I sell them for caps? Keeping Bobbleheads of course!

You can't remove bobbleheads, but the magazines can be dumped.

once you pick them up, the effects are automatically applied. So you can store, sell, or drop the mag after if you like. Also, you can build a magazine rack in your settlement, and store them on there as well. i think it looks cool

I take back what I said previously, you can remove Bobbleheads from your inventory.

Spoiler
After you become a friend of Vault 81, they give you a room with a Bobblehead rack in it...

You can also build your own bobble head stand in any settlement. You can remove them from your inventory then.

You can build your own. And a magazine rack (or three) to display your accumulated magazines.

Spoiler
I'm collecting as many hero costumes and weapons in the hope I can outfit my companions at Sanctuary for a group photo of me and The Untouchables. Already got Grognak and The Silver Shroud locked in place!

Bear in mind that some of them *may* be quest related, though anything essential should give you a message saying it can't be removed. But keys or holotapes can be needed to progress quests...

I have some cybernetic limb parts or something (@work so can't check actual item names) in there too, any ideas on if those are needed in the future?

If you can't remove them, they are "quest locked" and you will need them.

You need the brain one to progress the main quest but you're left with the other two afterwards and can remove them from your inventory (mine live in the floor safe in my bedroom). They are 0 weight/150 cap items so I think they're just tradeable bonus items.

I'd fix the inventory management in Fallout 4. The misc section is extremely cluttered. I'd split keys back into a different section or bring back the old "key ring". I'd move the holotapes and notes back into their own sections in the Data segment of the Pipboy.
