Fan idea for DLC *spoilers*

*spoilers ahead* I've heard that Bethesda is going to let the fans decide what they want from the dlc so I'm just gonna throw out some of my ideas on here. Feel free to let me know what you think.

Brotherhood of Steel:
Something that Ive always thought would be pretty cool for fallout 3, but even more so now, is if you were able to put together your own team. Since at the end of the BoS storyline you're a Sentinel it would totally make sense to have your own squad. This idea stems from Sentinel Lyons and "Lyon's Pride" from fallout 3. Maybe incorporate a system kind of like skyrim's "blades" and you are responsible for recruiting people who you want to be in your squad. The idea of having a no nonsense squad of elite wastleanders in BoS power armor that may not necessarily follow all the rules but get results, sounds pretty badass. I know that if you go the BoS route you knock off a few companions so this will just be an excuse to add more. Possibly even add in a system for your squad like the current settlements have, where instead of trading routes, you send members of your team on missions while you and another member are off doing something else. Also allow for the construction of BoS settlements.

The Insitute:
I'm a fan of the terminator-esque coursers so most of my ideas are based off of them. Firstly I wanna be a freaking cyborg. Kellogg got the last of the cybernetic enhancements before the institute scrapped that project, but hell I want cybernetic optics that allow you to zoom in, or see in the dark, or give you increased melee damage, the possibilities are endless. Story wise, a synth civil war. Maybe some of the coursers or other synths become aware that the institute is using them as slaves and seek to not only free themselves (by killing everyone in the institute) but by also cleansing the Commonwealth as well because humans just mess everything up. You can either become a cyborg or go complete synth and be the savior of the robots and go to war with humanity or you can preserve your son's legacy and help the institute get things under control.

Railroad:
The railroad is the one ending I have not done so I don't have much to offer in their regards. But I think kind of going off the BoS it would be cool if you were able to dispatch railroad agents and to incorporate even more "James Bond-y" spy stuff. Possibly gadgets and such.

The Minutemen:
I honestly really like the minutemen as they are. Other than being able to stick settlers defending my towns in power armor I don't have a whole lot for these guys either. In my run through I eliminated everybody, so the Commonwealth is free-will all around. Again, other than minutemen in scavenged minutemen painted power armor, the only other thing I could think of is being able to send squads of minutemen places. A couple of towns have ghoul problems while another is being attacked? Send 2 squads of 5 guys to deal with the ghouls while you and another squad of 5 guys come to the third settlements defense. A guy can dream.

Main Antagonist for DLC:
I have a few thoughts in this regard. Firstly, if possible I think it would be cool if there were faction specific enemies that attacked. For the BoS, since theyre the top dogs of the wasteland now, maybe a horde of super mutants from the masters army come trudging through. For the institute, the BoS most likely won't take their defeat sitting down and will send more forces (especially if they're genocidal terminators). The supermutant horde would also be applicable here as it would just prove to the institute as a whole, synth and human, that the wasteland's inhabitants are not not the future of mankind, and a horde of supermutant would definitely prove a threat to the institute whether they're peaceful scientist or genocidal robots. The Railroad would have the same problem as the institute with the BoS and that might open things up for some infiltration missions or something. Again supermutants also viable. As for the minutemen I think any threat that would cause conflict in settlements could offer an interesting quest line.

So there it is. My thoughts about what I'd like to see in DLC content. Feel free to comment with any changes you might make. Thanks for reading.
