Hey guys. Firstly I have fps dips to 50 odd sometimes due to my hardware, however despite that I noticed a strange stutter when looking at certain objects, in a building interior or in the world. I used Radeon Pro to show my fps and noticed that when this happened by fps was displaying as 62 fps, most noticeable in a small interior cell. I have a feeling this is like the stutter issue from all previous Bethesda games. The following fixed it for me.
Download and install Radeon Pro. It works for Nvidia and AMD.
Create a new profile for Fallout 4, and match the "Tweaks" tab like mine for 60fps monitor - http://i.imgur.com/PBF4Aza.png
Specifically:
Vsync control - Always On
Triple Buffering - Ticked (can decrease performance on some systems)
Display Refresh Rate - 60
Lock frame rate up to monitor's refresh rate - Ticked
My specs
AMD FX 8350 @ 4.3ghz
EVGA GTX 760 OC
G.Skill 16GB RAM
Other than this I have no fancy Nvidia settings other than "prefer maximum performance". No ini tweaks, no pre-rendered frames, just default.
Hope this helps some of you folks.
