It's just the opposite with me. I get tired of games if I play them too much.
Unable to play more than 2-3 hours a day? If I got that much I'd be a very happy camper. I haven't been able to do any more than about an hour day for years due to real life commitments (work, wife, child). Usually I'm lucky to be able to play every day, normally it's only two or three times a week.
I do get you though. It's frustrating when real life gets in the way of hobbies.
I've managed about 6 hours since release date and it's killing me. Work, wife, child etc.
I'm having to schedule in proper gaming time. For instance, this Saturday my daughter is off to grandma's for the weekend, the wife is out celebrating her friends birthday all day/night, which means from 10AM until Sunday AM, I'm going to assume the position in the gaming chair, surround sound on, curtains drawn, plenty of supplies and that's me done..... Happy place!
If there's a knock at the door or the phone rings......... To bad..... Sorry, not home.... Currently wandering the wasteland.......
Oh and btw. I'm never going to get tired of the game. I haven't with any of the other FO's
Yeah, most days I'm lucky if I get a couple of hours to play much of any videogame these days (that's what happens when you find yourself with a full-time job, a wife, and kid I suppose. ) For any extended play time I usually just end up staying up late, and even that tactic only works on days where it's not my turn to put the kid to sleep or don't have to wake up at 3am to get ready for work.
Sure, I spend most of my time at work just waiting for it to be over so I can get back to the game, but what are you going to do?
This Thursday I've got the day off and I have my son in preschool for a chunk of the day - with the holidays looming closer I nominally am supposed to be spending that time getting the house ready, I'll probably be playing Fallout 4!
I feel your pain. I've got finals coming up and shouldn't be playing/have been playing as much as I have.
I have all the time in the world to play games but fallout 4 only holds my interest for about an hour at a time after which I get the urge to play something else with more depth. I think turning it off after an hour is some kind of weird coping mechanism without which I could easily sicken myself of this game and have no desire to return.
I get maybe 2 hours in the evenings. Sometimes not at all.
Guys what's wrong with you all just don't sleep that's what i did and i'm fine, no side effects at all.
Now if you will excuse me my dog just rang and said his car has broke down so me and the goldfish are gonna jump in his bowl and go pick him up!!
Well I did take the 10th off using a vacation day (something my wife still jokes at me about). Other than that I get about 2 to 3 hours in each night. I basically come home from work. Do choirs. Make sure the kids are still alive. Play. Stop around 10:00 and watch the news with the wife while giving her a back rub and foot massage the whole time. Go to bed around 10:45.
Weekends I can get a lot more time in but I always make sure every chore I can think of is done first because once I start playing I know I won't want to stop to take care of other stuff. I can get 5-6 hours in those days.
Well I'm lucky my wife is a gamer as well. She plays something, I play Fallout and when we're finished, we play...oh sorry, that's not the point here xD
But yeah I get you. Spending ~12 Hours a day for getting to and off work, working and lunch-break + some hours of sleep + doing shopping and household.... I count the hours till weekend, about 12 hours more to play a day xD
ha I also have to sacrifice some sleep to get a couple hours of play time at night but I haven't slept good in years so my body is adapted to it. I pass out every other night to make up for the late night sessions that run later then I realize...like the night I was building my compound and I looked at the time and it was 2:30 am
Hey, I took the week off. I mean I had other things to do as well, but I made sure it coincided.
I usually only get an hour or two in normally. These six hour sessions at the moment are taking their toll, gives me a headache. Alas, I cannot just sit and play all day like when I was younger. There is the community aspect as well. The gaming experience varies in these games from person to person, it can be fun just to discuss them.
