riding in the vertibird for the first time, right after Danse says he thinks the Elder will have a plan in place when we arrive. we get shot at from somebody on the ground, and then immediately crash to desktop. has happened 3 times now. im using windows 8.1, have a 970 with up to date drivers and an i5 4690. anybody else having trouble here? any suggestions as to what to do? i've tried verifying the cache but that didn't help.

yeah sounds like it. bad save, huh? well at least i'm not alone... hopefully bethesda patches this very soon, i can do some other quests in the meantime but it'll only be so long before i'll really need to progress thru this area.
