I think it would be cool if you could take over a vault and use it as a settlement. Like make it like Fallout Shelter but actually in Fallout 4. Assign people rooms to work in, add new rooms as resources are obtained, defend the occasional vault breach. Would be awesome!

I'm hoping for this in a DLC. Maybe set in Rhode Island, you find a vault settlement and all the assets are vault themed.

Actually, having a set theme for each different settlement would of been nice in the first place.

Like red rocket, having gas stationed themed items would of been great. Or the drive-in theater, having theater themed items would of been great.

I'm hoping that either this will be DLC or someone will come out with a mod. I remember a small mod for Fallout 3 that gave me a player house, near megaton at that little gas station near the school. You clicked on a manhole cover and went into a vault themed player house. It had lights and certain activation items. It was actually very similar to how The Sink is in New Vegas. and this mod had came out long before NV.

It would be great if it also emulated fallout shelter as well - and was somehow linked!

The only way I could see an online shelter link system working fairly is to have the content (base building, rewards etc) - affecting only one way, to the registered steam client/game (fallout shelter -> fallout).

would be great if they add a vault entrance to the wasteland where we use a tunneler to build a settlement there using lots of the stuff we all loved from fallout shelter. People would go nuts for that just like they did for the cell phone game.
