Nice! I think this solves 1/2 the problem. Someone will have to re-write all the dialogue options so we have more insight into what we're actually saying. That will come with the Creation Kit.
Wow. I didn't even notice.
That's an incredible feat. This is the beginning of great things for the Fallout 4 modding community.
Now, need to fix the inability to backtrack and revisit topics to get further info.
To be fair I think more things are right with FO4 than with FO3 and in many ways FO:NV.
The dialogue however is by far the worst aspect and in a role playing game it is very apparent all of the time
The other thing that needs fixing is the inability to back track in dialogues.
Truly sad that a modder did this in one week. Seven years of development time and some of the paraphrasing in this game reads like you're on a 3 day crack binge.
It looks cool, have you actually been playing with it? If so, two questions:
The description said it uses the number keys, I assume mouse select still works?
When making persuasion checks, is the text still color coded to let you know it's a persuasion check and how hard it will be?
The only downside is, it doesn't light up your current option or the one you choose. This is easily looked past, but still, would be a nice addition.
Can I still use the dialogue wheel with this without a gamepad? I like the dialogue wheel better than the list, but Im not sure if a gamepad is required for that.
Just noticed this on the Nexus. Amazing how something this awesome comes out just a week after release.
Apparently he is planing to translate it into French, as well.
