I'm not too excited about building up some rusty shacks and am just fine living in my Red Rocket garage, but, I've started to gather up a few companions who then disappear on me when I send them there.

Do I need to have shelter and bedding for unused companions to keep them around?

Also, I would love to build up by BoS at the airport since I am a BoS member but it seems that that area isn't a very good spot (no mod bench, no farming.)

Any suggestions for a decent settlement spot in that area?
