I'm using Scrounger and I haven't noticed more ammo on slain enemies. However I have noticed way more ammo in containers and often there will be more than one ammo type in the same container. The crazy thing is that I am using it all up too.
Since there doesn't seem to be a definite answer about slain enemies, does anybody know if loot in chests in the respawnable locations (Usually marked as "cleared" after a go-round, then the tag disappears on a timer.) does that ammo/loot respawn with the new spawn of enemies?
Yes I've had entire outposts respawn, enemies, chests, safes, and keys to areas otherwise only accessable by a master lock, all respawn... it's as if I was never there. I've got ammo up the wazoo without these parks and when I think I might need some I just trade with my growing stash of purified waters which has exceeded 700.
The respawning is crazy. That quarry that was filled with water has been hunted clear by me at least a dozen times now. All the containers refil, everything starts as new. Infinite stuff. I have over 150 stim packs now (and I bet I am low compared to some). I have scrounger level 4 and have noticed a lot more ammo in slain enemies. It started that I would find just the ammo for the gun they carried. Then it was the gun and maybe one more ammo type. Then two gun and two ammo types and now I am finding three ammo types and two gun (this is maximum normal). Occasionally I will find them with three gun, three ammo types. This of course is without the various other bits and bobs... oh and I am finding more enemies with 2 stimpacks now.
