I can fire an assault rifle that fires rapidly outside of VATs just once with a full AP charge. I can fire the gauss rifle, one of the most powerful per shot weapons in the game, 3 times. I can fire a 10mm pistol like 8 times. What gives? Where does it list the AP requirements? This is kind of a crucial stat as this determines your DPS in VATs and also greatly affects perks like 4 leaf clover, where every shot gives you a chance to get another critical hit.
