Brotherhood of Steel Access : Fallout 4

So I was disappointed for a while at how short the Brotherhood of Steel arc was until I found out that I'm missing a huge chunk of the arc. The last mission I did for them was investigating a lost BOS Recon team and now Paladin Danse has nothing else for me. I know there is much more after looking it up. Could it have been choices I made? Is it a glitch? Help would be appreciated.

the BoS arc doesn't continue until you progress the MQ and the Prydwen shows up.

The same is true of the Railroad, they offer you a few quests, but until you get to the point the Prydwen shows up, they will eventually run out of stuff for you to do.

Danse is just BoS Recon team. so they have limited things to do. when you progress further enough the BoS airship will come with whole Capital Wasteland BoS forces.

at that point you will get point to meet with the BoS Elder and there will be more quests
