These are very rare greaves that makes you immune to falling damage like wearing the power suit does. They are technically unobtainable by normal means since there's no platforms or stairs leading to the room that has them and I think we weren't suppose to know about them. I just need to know what's up with these super hard to get greaves and how exactly did Bethesda expected us to know of this.

I'm starting to see items in areas that only seem accessible by having the jet pack mod for your power armour torso. Maybe this falls into this category.

Yes you need the jet packs but it's not like you jetpack from platform to platform. This was too awkward for normal jetpacking

The greaves are locked in a novice safe inside a room with an open wall. This room is inside the Mass Fusion building waaaaay at the top.

The jet pack is normal means. There are plenty of places in game only reachable like that. He did the hard way.

This makes no sense, with 4sci/4armor (high level) invested to amp up your PA with mods,upgrades, and jetpacks why would you even want or need those crappy leg armors?
