Except we didn't know about the platinum chip for a while and even then, it didn't make me care about it or the situation. I found NV's main plot horribly bleak and uninspired. I was shocked to see so many people liked it. But that's what opinions are for I guess. I the sidequests and DLC parts much more than the MQ, especially finding out more about the courier though Ulysses

I started having a problem with the plot in NV, when Benny shoots you in the head with a 9mm at point blank range. Would of made more sense had your character been hit in the head by a piece of a bullet, after an exchange of gunfire with, what the PC thought was raiders trying to kill him and steal his stuff. Your character passes out from the shock of it all, and the people that were chasing him/her assumed he was dead, and took his stuff and ran.

Don't get me wrong, I role-played the hell out of the desperate/cutthroat mother and I liked it. But as I said I was expecting to do a couple play-throughs. Besides feeling unattached to my characters staggering agility, intellect, ect. the cuts really strike at the replay aspect of the game. Having the right specs or lacking them made replaying missions fun, different and interesting.

Side note, yeah... Its hard to imagine any play-through in which i didn't always gun after Shaun and Kidnapper. How could i justify ignoring them and dikeing around? Maybe a psychotic break?
