Survival difficulty discussion

When i got Fallout 4 i made the random decision to play on Survival mode.....it was the best idea ever! Not only does it svck you into the fallout world, it gives the enemies and strategies that you use a realistic feel. Yeah you die a little bit more than another other difficulties you gain so much more in other areas of the game.if you haven't played on this difficulty yet I think you're missing out.

At low levels sure >.> and enemies hit harder so it obviously makes the game harder... plus more legendary enemies is never a bad thing.

thats a sign that you are underpowered or undergeared. Survival means no bs, your build and your perks should be picked to maximize your combat efficiency over roleplaying. I would suggest trying Hard or Very Hard first to get a feel of the increased enemy health and damage, the bump up to Survival is not that big, but the slow healing is.

Survival mode also decreases the speed of stimpack healing or so I've heard. Since i've never played one of the lower levels I couldn't tell you about them but in survival mode it takes a while for a stimpack to be fully utilized

I took the medic perk and I regret my decision. Stimpaks heal like normal difficulty and the 100%. Makes it a bit too easy.

I'm hoping the first DLC we get will be balanced for extreme high levels of play, like 80+.

There are definitely "Bullet Sponge" moments but one you realize youve leveled up and go back and start killing Moalrats with one bare knuckle punch and the fear of raiders turn into a Preditor hunting mentality the game just gets fun.
