I stepped out of my power armor and Nick jumped into it

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 2:54 am

I needed to take a leak (note to the design department we need a mod there filling the left leg with it is not a good option)

anyway Nick jumped into it and wont get out... I fast traveled to the nearest PA work frame but i cant repair it while he is in it....

any ideas?

I had this happened to me, I came to get my power armor and my provisioner was making off with it. I just pressed E and she got right out. I don't know why that's not working for you, but if you get your power armor back never leave a fusion core in it.

Talk to them, and the bottom choice should be "Exit power armor". That is, when you get to the dialogue section, not the general command section.

Companions will get out of power armour when you send them back to a settlement too so dismiss him and he will pop out, leaving you with a flat battery. By the way, the bio facilities are in the right leg, not the left. A rookie mistake but easily made.

You're on like a broken record with that.

Nevermind the fact that you leaving it unattended with a core in it isn't the only way to lose it.

I was walking down the road with Nick one time when we found a suit sitting there. An enemy rolled up but i put the core in to get in while Nick fought. As soon as I got the core in I couldn't activate or use the armour in any way, or take the core back.

Apparently the instant I put a core in Nick prioritized it, and was trying to make his way there to get in it in the middle of the fight. Was pretty annoying.

OP, Good thing is though you can just speak to them, select talk, and tell them to get out.

if it doesn't let you order them out, you could always see about pickpocketing the fusion core out... of if you trade, maybe you can see if the fusion core is in their inventory and pull it out......

But a Robot, in a Robot... priceless.

Thanks for the tip now that I have turfed Nick out I will be more careful in the future... I think Nick is my favourite companion so far.

I did find the firemans friend option in the right leg thanks to you I have always "dressed on the left" as a Taylor will put it so never thought to look there.
