Two little things bug me --

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 5:16 am

I am really enjoying Fallout 4 and haven't really found any terrible bugs or issues, although the PC interface and keyboard configuration stinks (especially when building a settlement)

However two things really bug me which I hope Bethesda fixes soon.

1. Getting Rid of dead bodies - I am tired of passing the dead raider in his underwear (unfortunately I robbed him early) laying in the road near the bridge to Sanctuary. No matter how many times I have tossed him in the river, he mysteriously reappears on the road.

2. Sending Companions home -- When I change companions, I don't want them cooling their heels at my Red Rocket Workshop, I am sure they would like to get on with their life when not out scavenging with me. Can't we just send them back to their original location until we need them again? At least let me send them to my house in Diamond city.

Just my two cents worth.

As for your 1st comment, I usually try to shoot up dead bodies to turn them into smaller pieces, eventually they will disappear.. I had a minuteman corpse and a gunner corpse stored in the castle for testing.. I could shoot off limbs of the gunner, and he disappeared entirely after a while.. The friendly corpse however took no damage at all and remains there intact and indefinitely..

At least the corpses let you know you were there.

Yah, but the game allows me to move the corpse -- why won't it stay where I move it to?

Well don't bother dragging him anywhere and trying to throw him in the water on something- he'll just come back like a ouija board in a horror movie...

It took a while to find a base that worked for my 'gang',

but in the end it is:

Spoiler
Covenant.

It's fairly central, not too big, not too small and very defensible.
