It strikes me that once inside a PA suit -- which incorporates an internal exoskeleton -- the wearer's Strength really should have NO effect at all on carry capacity. The burden is entirely on the suit and not at all on the wearer inside the suit. So by the time the character gets to Strength 10, plus wearing pocketed body armor pieces, wearing PA might actually reduce the character's carry capacity.

I know right, perfect argument when people overthink things and nitpick ;p

I'm not sure it's nitpicking at all. I think the powerarmor carry capacity is too low and should probably exceed the max human capacity ot add to - significantly - the wearer's strength.

It does though. Check out your stats next time you're in one. Took my strength from 3 to 11

if I recall you get like 450ish carry capacity with power armor. you can increase it more with perks, military paint and the leg upgrades.

You get 310 to start. You can upgrade the legs to give you 410, but the paint does nothing since it modifies your stength score.

The PA carry limit overrides all other carry limits it looks like.
